Announcing the OysterFest 2023 Art Poster Contest winner!

Sandi Brown submitted “Oyster Girl”, acrylic on canvas and was selected among the 14 entries received. Sandi has been a resident of Shelton for over 30 years and has drawn and painted ever since she can remember. She has a B.A. in Fine Art from Central Washington University and has participated in many art shows and art organizations. Sandi works in oils, acrylics, watercolors, a variety of drawing materials and mixed media. As a fifth generation Washingtonian, she is continually inspired by the people, places and wildlife of the Pacific Northwest. Sandi will be signing 100 posters that will be for sale in the souvenir tent at OysterFest.

The success of OysterFest is largely due to its many vendors and exhibitors, which provide a variety of delicious food (both seafood and non) as well as education and information booths about stewarding our marine resources and our communities.
