OYSTERFEST ART / PHOTOGRAPHY ONLINE APPLICATION
Please submit the online application below or download/print
the application.
All entries must be
delivered to the Mason County Fairgrounds, Art & Photography Building between
Sunday September 30th through Tuesday October 2nd, 2007. You must submit this online
application prior to delivering your entry or bring a completed application
which can be downloaded by clicking
here.
REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES

All entries will be screened prior to acceptance for
compliance with rules and regulations of this competition.

All entries must be the original work of the
entrant; photographs may be commercially reproduced from slide or
negative.

An entry fee of $12 per entrant per division
(Art or Photography) is required and non-refundable. An entrant
may enter up to 2 items per division per entry fee (i.e.
entering 3 items up to 4 items would require two entry fees). The
value of each work must be indicated on the entry form.

If entries are for sale, indicate sales price on the
entry form. Sales of entries are subject to a 33.3% commission
payable to OysterFest. Sales tax is the responsibility of the
entrant.

All entries are to be delivered to the Mason
County Fairgrounds, Art & Photography Building, Sunday October 1st through Tuesday October 2nd, 2007, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

- Pick up entries from the display area Sunday Oct 7th, 2007
from 4 to 6 p.m. All entries must be picked up at the appointed
time or a storage penalty will be charged.Skookum Rotary (OysterFest)
and the Mason County Fair Grounds (Mason County) are not responsible
for lost, stolen or damaged pieces.
- The judges’ decisions are final. They may not award prizes if in
their opinion the entries do not warrant recognition.
- ALL 2 DIMENSIONAL ENTRIES MUST BE IN A SUITABLE FRAME AND
READY FOR HANGING. NO SAW-TOOTH OR CLOTH HANGERS WILL BE PERMITTED.
- There is no minimum frame size, maximum frame size is 40” x 40”.
- An address label must be affixed securely to the back of
the entry with name, address, phone number, title, division and
class.
- Please remove any stickers from face of entry.
- By submitting his/her work in competition, the entrant accepts
the terms and conditions stated upon this page.

- All paint must be dry.
- Water base, pencil, charcoal and pastel pieces must have protective panes.
- Artist may enter up to 2 pieces per entry fee in any combination of the following classes:

PHOTOGRAPHY
- Prints must be mounted on mat board, cut-out mat is acceptable, and framed and ready for hanging.
- Do not use rubber cement or glue to mount the print to the mat.
- Photographer may enter up to 2 prints per entry fee in any combination of classes.

AWARDS
Each year, one piece from any of the art categories is awarded a GOLD MEDAL and $100 for "Best Theme." The piece chosen best reflects the crustacean spirit of OysterFest. |
